A Trim is a curve loop that is used to cut away a part of a NURBS Surface. A Trim can be an outer trim (cuts away the outside edge of the Surface) or a hole (cuts a hole in the Surface).
Not to be confused with a DSM Trim, which is used to limit the search extents in the Dense Surface Model creation process.
