Box selection

To select all items in a rectangular region on a photograph, press the left mouse button while the arrow cursor is over a region where there are no selectable items, then drag the mouse while holding the mouse button down. A rectangular region is swept out by the starting location and current location of the mouse and is displayed on the screen by a box. When the mouse button is released, all items within the region are "selected". Lines and Surfaces must be completely within the rectangular region to be selected. Multiple select also works with box selection in that you can add to any current selection by holding the shift key while doing a single, multiple or box select.
