The 3D Viewer shows all the 3D objects in the project that have valid 3D locations. Objects that do not have 3D locations (because they appear on only one photograph or cannot be computed by some other algorithm) will not appear in the 3D Viewer.
To open a 3D Viewer use one of the following:
• Select the "Show 3D View" Quick Access Toolbar.
• Select the "Show 3D View" tool on View Tab.
• Use the “Open 3D View” keyboard shortcut (key is shown beside menu item)
• The View Tab tool has an alternate called ‘show options’. This tool is chosen on the toolbar using the drop down arrow on the right of the 3D View tool. You may wish to change the 3D View settings before the 3D View opens (to speed up the opening in large projects for example) - when you use the ‘Open 3D View (show options)’ command the options dialog appears before the view opens allowing you to change the settings.
Multiple 3D Viewer windows can be opened at once. Each of the open 3D Viewers can show different contents and different view points. All 3D Viewers are grouped in one top-level pane called “3D View Windows” and can be closed all at once by closing the top-level pane.
