To create a new ‘approximate’ camera in a project, click on the "New" button. You will then need to select an image that the camera took to set the camera resolution. A camera with basic default parameters will be created. You can then set it up as needed, e.g. parameters based on known camera specifications, as described below). You can also copy a Camera by selecting it and pressing the Copy button and adjusting where applicable. A new camera will appear in the camera list and this camera can then be assigned to a Photograph(s).
