New projects are created with a minimal set of materials and layers and the user can add as needed for each project. On the other hand, the user may wish to have all new projects have the same set of layers and/or materials to speed up new project creation. In Preferences / Application Settings / Project / Project Default Settings, these default materials and layers can be set up. These will be independent of a specific project – once set up, all new projects created by PhotoModeler will have these default sets.
