Improving your 3D Model

Once a 3D model has been created for the first time, a number of things can be done to the model to make it more useful. These are:

        Add scale,

Rotate model into a coordinate system,

Add more detail by marking additional features (points, lines, edges, curves, Bent Tubes, cylinders, surfaces, or surface draw),

        Add constraints, or

        Improve the accuracy.

The following subsections deal with each of these improvements.

The Accuracy and Overcoming Limitations chapter in the Reference section describe various methods for improving accuracy and for dealing with difficult measuring situations.
