Keyboard shortcuts are one, two or three key combinations that duplicate an operation that can also be initiated by a menu selection or a toolbar choice. Some frequently used operations in PhotoModeler can be accessed more easily by using keyboard shortcuts.

For instance, if you wish to undo your last action you can hold down the control key while pressing the letter "z".

Shortcut keys are specified for some of the more common menu choices. These shortcuts are displayed next to the menu selection that they access.

The shortcut keys can be customized as you see fit, and this is where it is done.

This tab shows all of the customizable tools in PhotoModeler, categorized as in the Commands section. It allows you to assign keyboard shortcut to any of the customizable tools.  The complete list of default (before customization) shortcut keys is given in the section Keyboard Shortcut Reference.

PhotoModeler is installed with a default set of keyboard shortcuts but you may wish to change those shortcuts to match your particular need or to match another similar piece of software.  Most m

To set a shortcut, select the command at left, click the Press new shortcut key  edit box to activate it, then press the desired key or combination of keys on your keyboard, then click Assign. The shortcut will appear in the Key assignments list. A warning message appears if the shortcut is used already, giving you the option of overriding it or canceling the assignment.  To remove a key assignment, select the shortcut in the Key assignments list and click the Remove button. To restore shortcuts to factory defaults, click Reset All.
