Preference Dialog Controls

There are five buttons at the bottom of the Preferences dialog, accessible regardless of which page is currently displayed.

When the ‘OK’ button is pressed any changes you have made to settings on any or all pages will be written to the ini file. Some of these settings will take effect right away while others will not take effect until PhotoModeler is next started (a message box will tell you this). If no changes have been in any dialog control made then pressing OK will make no changes to the current saved settings.

When the ‘Cancel’ button is pressed, any changes that have been made on any page will be ignored.

The ‘Help’ button will open the PhotoModeler Help file pointing to the section describing the currently active page.

When the “Reset ALL fields to default values” button is pressed, all preferences settings on all pages will reset to the state when the program was first installed and what PhotoModeler Technologies considers to be suitable defaults.

When the “Reset this page to default values” button is pressed, all the preferences settings shown on the active page will reset to the state when the program was first installed and what PhotoModeler Technologies considers to be suitable defaults. The settings on other tabs will not be changed in any way.
