The mouse position is represented by a cursor which tracks its movement on the computer screen. PhotoModeler changes the shape of this cursor to represent the currently selected tool. Most operations require a single click of the left mouse button but occasionally the right or middle scroll and button is used. In this document reference to a mouse button click will always mean the left mouse button unless indicated otherwise.
Some operations may require that the left mouse button be pressed and held down while the mouse is moved. This is called a "drag" operation.
The left mouse button is also used to select menu choices and to depress toolbar buttons. The right mouse button is used to bring up menus and if the user so desires to cancel continuous operations such as line draw, edge draw, curve draw or referencing point advance. The mouse and various buttons also control model manipulation in the 3D Viewer. Other pointing/navigation devices are also supported, such as the 3DConnexion SpaceNavigator or SpaceExplorer.
