Differences between Type 1 and Type 2 projects

Type 2 projects (compared to type 1 projects):

can have a different number of photos per epoch,

do not require the camera positions to remain static,

need at least four (4) static points across all epochs,

require that each epoch be manually oriented/processed before tracking or have sufficient coded targets to orient during tracking.

perform name matching as the first stage of tracking,

cannot track using only a single photo since there is no correlation between photos in each epoch,

perform tracking only in 3D since there is no relationship between photos of different epochs,

will close any open photo windows when the user switches between epochs,

do not support the input of AVI files - only the image types available in standard projects are supported,

specify only one camera during the Wizard setup (multiple cameras can be automatically matched or be manually loaded and assigned in each epoch),

have the Static Points mode (not available in type 1),

have the Append Epoch function (not available in type 1),

do not have the Transfer Marks function (instead manually marked points that are the same across epochs must be identified with the same unique user name and they will be matched up during tracking),

do not propagate Camera Station position data between epochs.

do not allow propagation of DSM results

have the option to propagate processing options (resolving each epoch individually)
