How Edges become 3D

Edges are assigned 3D position:

        during global optimization

from intersection math when the edge is referenced on two or more oriented photos

- fires when an edge has marks referenced/unreferenced

- fires when an edge point is moved

- fires when one of the photos its mark appears on is oriented, reoriented or forced unoriented

- fires when the user changes camera parameters or camera station parameters for that photo

from constraints computation when the edge is used in one of the Axes Constraints

Note that there are special requirements for photography to properly create edges. See the Quick Start Guide section Photography for Curves, Edges, and Cylinders.
