Points Photo Visibility

The Points section of the Visibility on Photos pane controls whether 2D objects (marks on photographs) and 3D objects (or projections) are visible on the open photographs. It also has controls to show or hide offset points, point id’s (2D and 3D), tags (2D and 3D), Target Areas, 2D SmartPoints, 3D SmartPoints and Residuals (with magnification factor). If an item is not available (e.g. a photo does not contain corresponding object types, the checkbox will be disabled).

When a check box is empty the corresponding item type is hidden from view in a photo. The type will also not be selectable. For example, if ‘Marks’ were off then they could not be selected by any means (single click, box area select or Select All tool).  This can be useful if you wish to select a number of features of one type in a window.

When PhotoModeler is in point marking mode then Marks visibility is forced on and cannot be turned off until a different mode is activated (e.g. selection).
