Send Files to Technical Support

Occasionally a problem arises with PhotoModeler and the staff in Technical Support ask that files are sent for review. These could be project files, or license/configuration files or some other type of file. Files can be sent to Technical Support via the Send Files to Technical Support dialog:

The files to be sent are selected using the options shown.

        Currently Loaded Project (and Images):  select this to compress the project and related files along with the images (if selected). If the project has changes or has not been saved, a prompt to save will be displayed.

        License and configuration files: select this to send the license file and the configuration files if Tech Support staff need to troubleshoot a licensing or general software issue.

        File on disk: select this to browse to a specific file as requested by Tech Support

The serial number based on your license is automatically shown and sent so that Tech Support can assign the support case to a customer account. 

If an email address has been sent as part of activation or registration from PhotoModeler previously, the email address will be shown. Otherwise, an email address must be entered before uploading. This ensures Tech Support has a way to contact the sender.

Optional notes can be entered if other information is appropriate, such as a brief explanation of the project setup or related questions and comments.
