Surfaces Photo Visibility

The Surfaces section of the Visibility on Photos pane controls whether 3D surfaces (or projections) appear on a photo. Surfaces are unique in that the only way to view surfaces on photos is via the 3D representation (which can only appear if the surface is valid and solved), that is, surfaces do not have 2D photo marks. Setting 3D surface visibility to on also enables 3D silhouettes to appear on photos since a silhouette is effectively a type of surface.

The Surfaces section will only appear on this pane if at least one surface (or silhouette) has been marked in the project.

When PhotoModeler is in one of the Surface marking modes the Surface section becomes visible.

Note: 3D items are displayed on oriented photographs only. See the section on Photo Projections for more information.
