To duplicate an Outline, select it, and then press the Duplicate tool. A menu will appear asking which surface the new or duplicated Outline should be associated with. The rotation will try to be the same as the original, and you are placed in ‘move mode’ right away to help with positioning. The Shift key also works to change between move and rotate. As well, since the duplicate is no longer tied to the original, you can modify the Outline by dragging points, to fine tune its shape.
