This dialog is accessed from the Object Point properties dialog using the Edit Custom Offsets hyperlink when the Offset Type is selected. This is the dialog that allows you to create custom offset types. These custom offsets will be listed in the Object Point Properties offset type drop down enabling you to simply select the offset type for each point, without having to re-define it from scratch each time. Selecting the custom offset type will apply the settings to the selected object point.
For example in the screen shot shown above, selecting the “Target on cone” offset would create offset points that are 25 centimeters down the Z axis. Note that the sign of the distance will depend on the setup of the rotation’s direction. Typically, to move down the axis, the value in the example above would be -25cm.
Use the Add button to create a new custom offset, and the Delete button to remove any offsets you no longer need.
If you had a series of pre-cut target targets such as this, you could set up a series of Coded Target Offset pairs that could be reused whenever you need.
