New Project Wizard

The wizard leads you through a series of panes gathering photos and information about your camera and project. If you do not wish to create a new project you may press Cancel at any time to abort the wizard.  To advance to the next pane press the Next> button and to return to the previous pane press the <Back button. This section describes the functions of each pane in the wizard.  The top portion of the wizard panes briefly outlines the purpose of each pane.

The first step for most projects is to select your photos, but photos can always be added or removed later using the Add/Remove Photographs Dialog.  See Project Wizard: Select Photos for more information.

The next steps typically involve choosing the ‘camera’ that took the photos in your project. See Working With Cameras for more detailed information about camera types etc.  The wizard shows several camera options so PhotoModeler can set up the camera for optimal use and accuracy. See Project Wizard: Camera Source for more information.

You can set up projects to include a set of Materials and Layers using Default Project Materials and Layers. These will be created automatically at the end of the Wizard.

The following is a description of the Project Wizard panes.
