Orthophoto Additional Settings

If a model has multiple layers, you can limit the export to the select layers – click the Layers to export… button to select layers.

Check the “Show Scale Bar on exported Orthophoto” checkbox to show a scale bar on the exported orthophoto image. By default, the scale is shown for a 100pixel measurement at the bottom left of the image. There are settings to adjust this – contact Technical Support for customization settings.

Check the “Overlay model data” checkbox to display model data over the orthophoto image.  Click the “Settings” button to show/hide various entities and control the display styles etc. See also 3D Viewer Options Dialog, as the settings are similar. Use the slider to the right of the button to control the display opacity of the overlay items.

When the “Create Rhino 3DM file…” setting is checked a Rhino file (.3dm) file is written alongside the orthophoto image file. You can open this file to view the scaled orthophoto image and use Rhino modeling tools (which are more extensive than PhotoModeler’s Surface Draw tools) to trace over the image and form new 3D entities.
