The status bar is the space at the bottom of the PhotoModeler screen reserved for messages. It displays information about the currently active window (if nothing is selected) and selected items (in this example a point was selected on a photo, project units are in inches, automatic processing is on, and the Last Alert can be clicked to show the most recent popup alert):
Similar information is also displayed in a Popup Information Boxes when the mouse is held over an item in a photo (and over a photo chip).
Or, when the mouse is over a tool on the toolbar, it shows a brief description of the tool (in this example, the mouse cursor is over the Mark Points tool, processing is underway, and the Last Alert is available so that when clicked the most recent Alert Popup will display, see Alert Popups):
When hovering the mouse cursor over various sections of the toolbar, tooltips are shown to briefly describe the information shown. Note that when selected item data is shown on the status bar, hovering the mouse over that part of the status bar will show the text also in the tooltip window. This is so that even if screen resolution or application window size is too narrow, you can still display the information without any text hidden or cut-off from view.
Also, some parts of the status bar are clickable (see below).
There are also sections on the status bar reserved the current project’s units, data for the point with the highest residual, the state of automatic processing (a running icon when automatic processing is on, a standing icon when off, also the icon displays action symbol during project processing), and the 2D position of the mouse cursor when over a photo.
Clicking the Units pane will open Imports and Coordinate Systems Pane.
When the Max. Residual section of the Status Bar is clicked, a tool menu appears which when clicked shows the photo and selects the point mark with the highest residual (and the photo is brought to the front). This feature is only enabled while in certain modes.
You can toggle Automatic Processing by clicking the Automatic Processing icon.
When a single item is selected in the model, the status bar will show information about that one item. These single-item status bars are described below.
When more than one item is selected the status bar simply shows the count of each item type, along with the id of each item. For example this status bar shows that 2 marked points (id 5 and 6) are selected, that the maximum residual is 48.72 for point 3 on photo 1, and that automatic processing is on (running vs stationary processing man icon):
