Table

Description automatically generated

The Surface Table displays information about Surfaces in the currently open Project. See the Tables and Interaction With Tables sections above for background information on tables, various types and layouts.

Note: Tables that are open can be printed or exported (to file or clipboard) using the Output to Printer, Clipboard or File feature.

The Surface table lists each surface's ID, whether it has a 3D position, the Surface Type, the number of Defining Objects, the number of triangles that make up the surface, the photos on which the surface appears, the surface's material, the surface's layer, whether it is double-sided or not, whether it is Smoothed or not, whether it is set to be computed, and the surface's trims and holes count.

Multiple Surface Tables can be opened simultaneously. The contents of the Surface Table keep in sync dynamically with the remainder of the project. For example, if you change the material of a surface, the Material column is automatically updated on the fly. You can select one or more Surfaces and study their properties (using the Right Click menu or the View Tab) or view the corresponding projections using the "Expand Selections to all Windows" ("W" key) command.

Note: The Name can be edited by double clicking a point’s Name cell, and editing the name directly. For information on this property, see The Objects That Make Up A Model.
