Two important values on this Preferences Audit Page are the Angle Maximum Bad and Weak values. These affect how 3D points are computed and handled in optimization and during normal intersection calculations.
A point that has a maximum angle (the largest angle between all light ray pairs) less than the Bad Angle setting will not be computed in the intersection calculation (for instance when referencing points on oriented photos, see Referencing Tools) and will not be carried in the optimization. This point will not be 3D and will not appear in the 3D Viewer or 3D Export but can be seen in Point Table and its low angle maximum will be displayed.
Point's light ray pairs that have an angle less than the Bad Angle setting will not be used in the intersection calculation. That is they will not affect the calculation so light ray pairs with better angles will be used alone. If the Bad Angle setting is 0 degrees then all light ray pairs are used (unless in that very rare case where the light ray angle is exactly 0 degrees).
Point's light ray pairs that have an angle greater than the Bad Angle setting but less than the Weak Angle setting will be weighted against in the intersection calculation. The lower the angle the less that pair will be used in the 3D calculation. If the Bad Angle setting is equal to the Weak Angle setting then no variable weighting is done.
