After execution completes, this project will have been modified but can be used and saved like any other project.
The photographs, after being idealized, are saved with the word ‘_idealized’ tagged to the file name. The original photograph files are not modified.
It is often a good idea to reprocess the project to fine tune it after idealize to account for any round off errors. This will give maximum accuracy. The 3D data can be exported (model and camera stations) to programs such as Maya along with idealized photographs to be used as background plates. This data will provide pixel or sub-pixel level matches for modeling in your external package. Note that the match in your external package will be similar to the residual error of that point in PhotoModeler. For example, if the highest residual of a point in the idealized project is 5 pixels, then you can expect to have some points not match the background plate in your rendering package to about 5 pixels.
