Volumes

A Volume is an object defined on a triangulated Mesh, using the Define Volumes tool on the Cloud/Mesh Tools Tab. Please refer to Dense Surface Modeling / PhotoModeler Premium for information on the Cloud/Mesh creation process. See also  Define Volume Mode.

A Volume Object is a 3D triangulated shape over a defined plane, where the triangulated Mesh, on which it is defined, is cut-out and isolated. A copy of this cut-out triangulated Mesh is stored and used to calculate the volume over the defined plane. Volumes are used to measure features like stockpiles (or parts of them). See also Volume Measurements.
